Well thought out, easy user interface... Worth the money...

No support response to requests for help. Cannot download Friday puzzle even on following Tuesday. Of course the Friday puzzle is the only challenging one. Dissapointed! Bob Daye Plays OK otherwise

Great puzzle game till 3.0. Only way back to puzzle list after completing a puzzle is to rotate to landscape mode and back. Happens after autolock as well. Stay away from quickcross on 3.0! Same issue but theres no landscape mode, so game is dead after completing one quick cross puzzle. Updated: Ive changed my review to 5 stars from 3 since its been updated for 3.0. I play this almost everyday and would recommend to others.

Was entertaining and worked great until I installed iPhone 3.0. Now its bugged and wont let me get back to the puzzle selection screen after finishing a crossword. Their website isnt helpful at all for support information. My only solution for now is to re-download the app every time I want to start a new puzzle. Edit: upped rating because a 3.0 version has been released. Works better than the 2.0 version did.

Calendar view shuts down the app so I cant download new puzzles anymore. What gives????

Was working fine till recent update keeps crashing , liked this app until recent if this isnt fixed soon Im ginba have to find a replacement as I miss my crossworda

App shuts down when going to Calendar to download puzzles. Not much good if you cant get any puzzles... UPDATE - new OS4 tested version works great! Awesome crossword game again...

This was one of my favourite apps but Im no longer able to download any puzzles. Too bad. Please come back.

Good puzzles, current, but app freezes each time a puzzle is completed. Annoying.

Good stuff but crashes every time I complete a crosswords or cheat with "reveal all error" thing when there are no errors. Need to reboot every time! Annoying. IPhone 6s, os 9.2.1

Needs an update for iPhone 6. No problem for years, now it freezes up. Does anyone bother to read these reviews? The app designers certainly dont.

It is unbelievably disappointing how long this app hasnt been seen to. It used to be a great way to exercise the brain and pass time, but now?! A total dud. All aforementioned glitches and problems have happened on mine as well. Calling out to the creators of this app! Please make it awesome again!

In the current iOS, the game crashes EVERY TIME a puzzle is completed. I wonder if this is an indication of how other things are going at USA Today. The interface is fine when it is not locked up. Being able to download the daily game is nice.

Please solve the problem where the app freezes after each successful completion. Have to close the app and restart to go to the next puzzle.

USA today no longer supports. However, I have discovered tricks to allow use without the App hanging up. 1) only use the menu when you check for errors. 2) when you check puzzle for errors make sure there is one, change an S to a Z for example. It only freezes when all letters are correct. 3) #2 applies to finished puzzle, so insert an error early and when you finish use menu to check. 4) if it freezes close and reopen, it will come back to where you left off.

Every time I check for errors the app stops working. On to other games...

Come on guys - UPDATE IT! Landscape doesnt work, freezes, crashes, etc. Id even pay (a little) for an update at this point. You used to have the Best crossword app in the Shop. GET IT?

App used to work well years ago, but has become buggy and outdated-- it freezes whenever a puzzle is completed. I have to force quit the app to reset it after every puzzle. Needs an update. I will revise my review if this problem is addressed.

An attempt to download a puzzle results in the app closing. Is this the end of this long unsupported app?

I like the puzzles, but they frequently freeze up on my iPhone 6.
